    New England Dragway
This past weekend was my first visit to New England Dragway for the year. Even with the rain, I still had an excellent weekend. On Saturday, Scott Menard defeated Chip Taylor for the win in Top Eliminator. Modified Eliminator was won by Jared Kinson, with Joshua Hicks being the runner up. Street Eliminator was won by Kyle Burns, with Dan Caissie being the runner up. Sunday, Ray Knight won Top Eliminator over Rob Hyatt. With his runner up, Rob moved up to second, but he's still way behind Ray Knight. Modified Eliminator was won by Mark Cannamella from Preston, Connecticut. Mark had been trying for a long time to win at New England Dragway, and he finally did. With his victory, he boosted himself way up to twelfth in the standings. Joe Henderson in the "Impatience" Nova was the runner up. The winner in street was Robert Smith, who defeated John Osmer. I'll be back in a few weeks there for Top Dragster and Top Sportsman at New England Dragway.

    Day Two Schaghticoke
I had a great weekend at the Schaghticoke Fairgrounds watching the mud racing action. Here are the results from the second day. Shawn Labbe from Maine got the win in the Pro Stock division. Second place went to "Missguided" driven by Terry Ziegler. Mike Zayachek, Clifford Winney, and Charles Hann rounded out the top five. Terry Ziegler had the fastest Pro Stock vehicle, and finished second overall. Mike Zibella, Kevin Jacobs, and Shawn Labbe rounded out the top five. Mike Zayachek, who won Super Stock both days, had the fastest Super Stock truck in the class. Last but not least was the Open Cut Tire class. Frank Olszewski in "Insanity" got the victory.
